About Author

Ellen Gough is B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, M.A. in the Study of Religion from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and Ph.D. in Asian Religions from Yale University (2015). Her work focuses on the religious traditions of India, in particular Jainism. At present, her research centres on Jain Tantra, with other teaching and research interests including ritual theory, Jain and Hindu festivals, astrology, meditation, yoga, and material culture.
