“The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.”* – Socrates

First of all, we need to know what we do not know, which will be our first step towards knowledge. Information is oozing out, and there is a race to express that information. There are constantly speaking lips, sounds, and noises everywhere. The journey of actual knowledge is to become acquainted with one’s ignorance. Infatuation and ignorance, like diabetes, may seem very sweet as it grows, but it is too late to realize the damage it can do. There is a storm of infatuation.

We usually lead a dual life, one to show the world outside, and the other is our reality. With the help of thought and elements, the difference between the two can be removed, and life can be made easier and more natural. However, for that, the luggage inside must be emptied completely. It often happens that due to limited knowledge, not only the acquisition is done, but there is so much emptiness that it cannot even make way for the new one. It simply must be acknowledged that this is the wrong stuff and that the shade and flavour born of it are transient or meaningless.

When someone comes to your house and sees it is already crowded, they turn back from outside. The house must be emptied so that new stuff can come, and prejudice must be melted down. The new air can enter when the knot has been removed, and illusion must be distinguished from reality. Your scruples become one of your most important assets in helping you achieve the aforementioned things. Element of Dharma is not different from policy. Both are made of the same stuff. If there is no truth in human behavior, how can it be religious? How can a man be wise if he does not have generosity in his understanding? Assuming there is no space in the inner character, how can we include something new in it! If everything inside remains stagnant, it will also start stinking in the same way as stagnant water would. As the water must continue to flow, the same way knowledge must continue to flow, the action of new addition and projection must continue. The existence of humankind is a conscious essence, this consciousness is constant, and its voice is heard. However, to hear that voice, one must ignore the outside noise.

  1. Whatever one knows is not the ultimate truth. The scope of immense possibilities cannot be denied yet.
  2. Always remember Being & Nothingness.

Penance, renunciation, non-violence, and non-possessiveness are the basic tenets of life in Jainism. Internal purity is essential. Desire is the driving force of human life. The reins of human life are rooted in desire, and how to get retired from it is suggested in Jainism.

In human life, work is never accomplished without a cause, and without a will, no act or behaviour occurs. That is why desires are included in the desire for happiness or liberation from suffering. Thus, the ultimate goal of Jainism is that humankind gets free from desire. With the acceptance of the limitations of the self, the illusion is dispelled. With the entry of the new sun, the mind becomes stable in Sadhana (devotion), Swadhyaya (self-study) and Tatva (Core element). The mind keeps flowing, keeps rejoicing, and the same effort should be continued.

It is essential to get rid of the corrupt state of mind, not to believe in the truth of our nature, the strong knot of vengeance, the tendency to fight the true religion and the lack of mercy. The ultimate Sadhana is to get rid of the habits of getting angry quickly in life, condemning others, wanting to be praised, blaming others despite our faults, being overwhelmed with grief, and retiring from doubt and fearful minds etc.
